bummer... at first I thought 1700 for such a car with these fugly wheels was reasonable, untill I noticed that extra zero in the price :shock:
'Fugly' nowadays is quite a common (street) word here. Our language is full of so called Anglicisms or Americanisms and even (official accepted) use of English words/sentences; have to agree that using a word like 'fugly' is another level though :grin: . In the surrounding countries when there is a new word coming to the world (like: computer) they translate it into their own language and use that.... here we just borrow the word and add it to the official list of Dutch words. Hanging around on several english spoken, car based, boards isn't good for ones own language.. As an instructor, when teaching, often I even can't come up with the correct Dutch words for gasket ('pakking') piston ('zuiger') etc etc and use the English term in stead :grin:
Not suprised. Most of these kids only know that the car was in a music video and that rims up to a certain size will fit. They don't even know the make of their own car half the time.
