I got a response from the owner of the car thought i would post. I have decicded to pass as of now. He is a very nice gentleman.
Thanks for your interest in my Buick.

First of all, let say that my Buick is a driver and not a trailer queen. It has some flaws, but it very solid both body wise and mechanically. The motor runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. The car handles and rides well but could use an alignment. There are no abnormal noises anywhere in the car. The dual exhaust and turbo mufflers are in great condition and they sound awesome. The floor pans and trunk are rock solid. There is some light surface rust in a few places under the car but it is only minor. The body is solid. The paint looks good but it has some flaws. The paint is fine if you want a driver, but if you want a show car paint job, the car needs to be redone. There are a couple of surface rust spots on the body about the size of a dime. The rear bumper has some light surface rust on it which is typical for Buicks of the early '70s. The trunk lid has some very light surface rust on the inside lip. The interior is in great shape. The package tray trim has a tiny hold in it. The emergency brake handle is missing. The button cover for the console lid is missing but it is barely noticeable and does not affect the opening and closing of the console. Everything is in tact under the hood. The air conditioning components are all there but the air does not blow cold. It probably needs freon. All lights work. Doors, hood and trunk lid open smoothly. The windshield wiper switch has come unscrewed from the back of the dash and I haven't taken the time to reattach it. You can still turn the wipers on.

That's all that is wrong with the car. It starts right up and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it on a long trip. Don't let the few negatives deter you from the car. It is a really nice solid Buick and it wouldn't take a lot to turn it into a show car. These cars are one of the few classics that the average person can still afford. A nice Stage 1 Buick will sell for $30,000.00+. The big block GSs are selling for around $20,000.00. I look for the small block GSs to start going up in value dramatically in the next 5 years.

You will recieve a link to Comcst's Snap Fish web site shortly. Just click on the link and you will be taken to a photo album of my Buick.

    Thanks!!!!!
    Mark
