All, I have been working with a graphics artist friend to recreate every color combination. Check it out. Mark
I thought some of these combinations were pretty wild. Some I would not be overly interested in but some look way cooler than I thought. Mark
That is pretty cool. :TU::TU: I would assume that you took the color combos from the "Original 44" documentation?
Mike, that is correct. We took the color combos from the original 44 and tried to recreate them so people could see what some of these cars would look like. I thought it was pretty interesting. Mark
Very Cool Mark! I was just reviewing that info recently and was mentally visualizing how all these car would have looked especially the vinyl tops. Do not see a Sunburst Yellow GSX like I once owned and that is in registry.
That is too cool! I've always wondered what my car would look like with GSX stripes (Hunter Green w/black vinyl top) . Thanks for posting this up!:TU:
Very cool, I like the Sea Green with black top the best. I think if you saw any of these GSX colors on a Buick dealer's lot, in 1972, you would be interested in he GSX package. I wish all the 1972 GSX cars were still around for us to look at!! Rick
Rich, the yellow car is the second to last picture. I did not the color came out exactly like it should have but as good as we could get. Mark ---------- Post added at 04:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:38 PM ---------- Rick, Thank Nikki for all the great work. Please let her know how much everyone enjoys seeing them. Sorry it took so long to get them posted. Life as been very busy for me the last year plus with work but I am finally clearing up enough to get a few things done. This was a must to get posted. Mark
All the tops were vinyl. I did not find any painted top cars during my research. Thanks, Mark ---------- Post added at 02:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:18 AM ---------- Alan, Nice work. I really like it. Mark
Mark, we will give Nikki your message. She was happy to help out. It is difficult to get the colors to look exactly as they would have on the actual cars but I think she did a GREAT job!
