Not mine. Here is the hard to find Buick mini console used to store 8-track tapes or other odds and ends: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0779258247&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Those are getting expensive; still have a black one (w/ key), dividers and a tray.. waiting for a 72 and up car with black interior... (still have to find that one :bglasses: )
I beleive Buick called this option a "Convenience Center"., but I thought they were only options on full-size Buicks from early '70's to mid '70's. The ad for each of these mentioned Skylarks.
I've got a couple of thse consoles but both are missing the dividers and tray. i'd love to see a photo of what I'm missing. I took them to a locksmith and they make me a key for a few bucks. I do however have the mounting bracket, which is almost ALWAYS missing. Of course making a mounting bracket is easy since it doesn't show, it doesn't have to be pretty.
Will post a photo of the tray and dividers tomorrow. I do have the bracket also, but since I didn't want to cut the carpet and weld it in place I choose for felpro...
The original bracket that I have, simply bolts to the floor, no welding. I'd love to see photos of the tray and dividers. No hurry, but I would appreciate it. I guess those items got lost pretty easily. I think I will put one of these consoles in my '72 sedan, it will be a good place to put the timeslips when I'm at the dragstrip, rather than laying them on the seat and losing them.
Haven't found the bracket, but as far as I remember the one I have was cut from the hump due the weldings (??)
Rob, GREAT photos! I've never seen those items that go inside the console. Thanks very much for posting them. Very interesting.
