I lived the first 38 years of my life in Michigan. I know how you feel. But it's really is a pleasure working on something that you don't need a hammer or torch to disassemble. It is worth the time and money to get a solid base. And not give most of your money to the bodyman. I will never work on a salt ride again.

I am about 140 miles away. I can look if someone is REALLY interested. I emailed the guy to see if he still has it. I will give him a call if I get no reply.

Can you ask him if its a 70 or 72 car, the rearbumper look likes a 70 style bumper.

I spoke to the seller and will go look at the car tomorrow if our schedules allow it before dark. It is a 72 according to the title. It needs metal work/rust repair in both rear quarters. Tan or brown bench seat interior that needs seat covers, and the carpet has been removed. Has a little trans leak, but does run but is not currently inspected or registered. It sounds like it was originally gold but was painted white with a paint brush by a previous owner. :spank:

More info tomorrow after inspection and test drive.

I think it is a post car, based on pictures he sent me. Too much money for me.

The car is a post car. Not quite as described - has more rust than lower quarters. I would recommend seeing it for yourself if interested.
