1972 GS 350 on Long Island, NY

    Called the guy. here's what he told me-

    Said the engine doesnt run. He doesnt know if its even free. So even if it runs, it might have a knock, blow blue smoke, have low compression etc. Same for the tranny. Who knows if it shifts. So the engine and trans are a crap shoot.

    Brakes are shot. No pedal. So its going to need everything from soup to nuts.

    Floors are rotted, trunk is rotted.

    The seller agreed that the car is basically a parts car. After looking at the pics, your looking at a GS hood, air cleaner, buckets, console, and steering column. Maybe some odds and ends to add to your stash like a set of driver quality headlight bezels and a set of 14" chrome wheels. The rest of it is junk in my opinion.

    Too bad about the GS - looked better in the pics (but I would think that is almost always the case!)

    The seller did not agree with my assessment of the car. I may be a little more convincing after the car doesnt sell.
