I have the opportunity to pick up and part out a 72 base 4 door SL for 1200. 3rd owner and supposedly pretty rust free front sheet metal, good bumpers, windshield and grill with solid trunk. 350 -4V (holley on aluminum) recent 350 turbo, and '72 GSX (??) wheels, 2-14s on front and 2-15s on back. This is a non AC car. A new set of unknown gears (373s??) in the trunk. Anyone care to split the deal with me? Right now its intact and drivable, and may get parted out in a month... Tree crashed and dinged lower right rear window and sheetmetal, was repair many moons ago with bondo and leaking a little. Original spare tire! Gimme some input. Should have some pics tomorrow...I really don't want a big production out of this. Take parts and then to the crusher! Bill in TR
The owner sent me some pics that are according to him, "TYPICAL" of the condition of the car. Turbo 350 has broken plastic governor gear (new one comes with it) and its only got LOW and Reverse. Mileage on trans is less than 500. Anyone interested and has room for it let me know. Rear deck pic shows bondo with repair at lower right of rear window... Bill in TR

So the car runs and drives but Trans is messed up ? Did u buy this ? I really be interested in the whole car as is ,even if you wanted to keep the front end . If that's what you want .looking for a daily and this would make a good one. Pm me your number lets talk about it!

I left him another vm, I want to see it in person. Will bring truck and trailer, cash is king after all and the trailer screams let me take it home.
I tried finding Keystone or Keytone bumper plating in GB and no luck... spin me like a piata and gimme a stick! I thought there was some chrome shops in Manitowoc but no luck here either. back in Chicago there was a bumper exchange; walk in and walk out (usually) but a bumper job was $100 back then! Always need chrome stuiff done on the boats too and hate to have stuff apart for months and then have the plater lose a one off part. Ideas? Thoughts?? Bill in TR
