I love the car, but the driver's side transmission crossmember rubber and bracket are pretty lunched. I wouldn't want to do any hard launches with it. I can't believe it's only at $25.5k with 22 hours left.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Buick...ash=item4d98a40dd4:g:WU8AAOSw-fldJQIo&vxp=mtr Reposted with a BIN of $29 500.00. What is this car worth? I'm considering it.
Please go look at the car if you are serious. That’s too much money to spend without seeing it. Most of us have learned a lesson or 2 by buying something sight unseen. I just sold a 72 stage car for 10,500 that was solid but had a 70 motor. I think this car is worth 25 if it’s what it appears to be and you really want a 72...just my 2 cents.
Well it appears from the first auction he proved that wrong with slightly higher bids lol. Though I agree with the the current condition that be a fair price. At that amount for any car it should be inspected and verified first. US $26,056.01
I think that car is what the photos show. But an inspection of the block stamps would be needed for sure. You just never know.
You have to take eBay sales and no sales with a grain of salt, does not mean they had real money.. People run up there auctions. Also I have see this happen to sold vehicles, then relisted again and again.
This is true. However being a 4 speed car and a Stage 1 with matching #s the ball park number is about right. IT needs some reconditioning. I remember this car on Ebay years ago and it went in the 17 to 18k range. It doesn't appear that much has been done to it since then. I almost went to NC to look at the car but ended up buy something else.
Scary, isn't it? I found this problem on one of my cars years ago and started a thread urging people to inspect this part of their ride.
The octane requirement surprised me given the compression ratio. Been a long time since I owned a '72 or newer 455" and don't recall that one.
