Very solid body on this car, minor rust in rear quarterpanels, has a replacement drivers door (Not shown in photos) due to accident but it aligns up properly and it only affected the door. Interior is shot, is a bucket seat console car, needs everything in interior, door panels, carpet, front and rear seat covers, fronts need all new foam, cracked dash, broken crank handle, the motor ran ok (Shows 77,000 miles) and it is his everyday driver. It is a A/C car but did not blow cold. The trunk floor had surface rust under the "shag" carpeting  but may require a new panel? :Do No: I was not allowed to pull the top back to see if it worked properly?.

I can only "imagine" what this car looked like two years ago when the teenager bought it from the original owner who always kept it in the garage! (Ugh) as now it is kept outside on the grass in Florida (Not good) and it has gone thru the whole Stereo concept of speaker holes cut in every possible place to ruin the interior.

Needless to say, for the money it sure would be an awesome car fixed up with this color combo.

I CHASED that ORIGINAL OWNER car around Clearwater for years. It needed a top, seat coverings and some detailing, but it ran nice, had potential and it sported standard hubcaps. The original owner, no longer able to drive, passed the car down to his mechanic..who gave it to his young son SEEMS MORE LIKE 4 years ago. I had the youngster here a few times selling him parts like 14 wheels etc.... He had great intentions of restoring it. Guess he changed his mind OR, perhaps has run out of hobby money like a lot of us these days. :spank: Wheelz, Tampa Bay

Wheelz if I had interest would you check the car out. I would need to know about trunk rust and any other Suncoupe area that might be a concern. I have a neighbor thats looking to get into a A body and I would like to make it a Buick. Hes been looking for a while but he cannot afford to do massive rust repair.

Sure John...Lemme suggest YOU call the young man, talk to him & get HIS opinion on the stuff you NEEDTA know..then tell him you have someone coming to take a look... let me know when you've done that and I will certainly go give it the ole eagle eye! Wheelz, Tampa Bay

Thanks Wheelz, I plan on calling him but the car is for a good friend and he will make the decision. I just wanted to make sure someone could do the rust check as a Suncoupe has its own issues seperate from A body issues
