Sent the seller an e-mail to check out the deal...waiting for a response...

"The car is a 1973 Buick Century Grand Sport and not a 1973 Buick skylark or 1973 Buick GS Stage 1. Can you identify the vin number for correct matching engines. If the production is low I will BID at a lower starting amount. I have several 1973 Buick Century. My 1973 Buick Century 2dr has Vin U for a 455-4 dual exhaust engine with 400 trans."

Let us know what you learn. Whenever I see one of these for sale I always ask for the VIN. It's suprising how many sellers are too lazy or unwilling to list it. I don't get it.

I know green. I could live with the color. I have 2 Harvest Gold ones. (my son hates the color) Man I could buy 2 cars for that price. Only 6 years and the only 73 I bought at that price was the most optioned 4 speed. The rest were in the well Cheap. Thought we were in a recession? Nice if its V Bird. It has the S! emblems but those r easy. Even "T or U" is nice 7500 no more than that. Am I being to generous Jason? Not buying got too much to do

This was my car until 4 weeks ago. I did a total resto on it. It is a real stage 1 v code. It now has a 68 model engine. I traded it to him for a 70 gsx tribute. Tom is a great buick guy. I had over 35k in the car. The car used to be red and I went back and forth on the color which is the original green-gold poly it came with from the factory. Ed

Yes lots of fun in high school days. I kept the 455 out of it and put it in the gsx. I rebuilt it and now it is around 550 hp.

Ed, the 73 came out great! Nice job.

So, your saying the engine in the 73 is a 1968 340hp 400?

Is this Tom Baker/ Baker Auto?
