Not sure I believe the mileage, these weren't cars that were just put away and forgotten about. However, it looks remarkably clean all things considered, so it might be that someone's Grampa just idled this thing around town for a few years before kicking the pail. More likely the case, it's been passed down through a few generations and well kept, but it has turned 121,000 miles. At any rate, the price is ambitious, even though this car is clean and has A/C and a power seat. Would prefer to see more pictures. I'm going to scan those up close.
I like it, if it was local to me I'd go look at it, and probably end up in divorce court when it magically appears in my driveway.

Bet it is 21k actual miles. The cloth seats wouldn't look that nice if it was higher. My dad's 73 Century with cloth seats probably didn't make it to 60k miles without the stitching in the seat pleats tearing. Very nice time capsule. I do like the cloth seats in these cars better than than vinyl.

Priced a little high. If it was half that, I be thinking a little harder about it. Hopefully it will go to a good home.

Interesting, power seats, but not power windows or locks.

I have to agree with the 21,000 being original. It looks the part, and if it has spent 121,000 on Minnesota roads there wouldn't be enough left of it to photograph. I also agree with the price being a bit ambitious but really, what can you buy for less than $10,000 these days? The color is a little hard to take but i could get used to it for a daily driver. At least I could work on it.

Clean looking piece, love the interior. Unfortunately my money is on it'll be rolling on some "February's" sooner rather than later.

Wow, I really have a reputation, lol. I could dig it w/15x7 chrome wheels. Looks a lot like '72 Heritage Green (same color as my 1st GS - I know shocking, right?). I'm no '73 expert but I don't see anything close on the '73 paint chart. Maybe an SCO color although I do recall looking at a '73 GS many years ago in what IIRC was the same color (Jade Green?).

Honeslty, other than my current '70 Stage 1 4-sp., of which the color was but only a minor consideration in the purchase of, & a '96 Dodge P/U I special ordered, I never sought out any of the many green cars I've owned incl. but not limited to 4 '70 GS 4-sp's, '72 Plymouth Valient I inherited from my grandmother in the 1980's, my 1st vehicle ('70 factory Buick 350 powered Jeep Wagoneer), & my current Y2K beater Toyota Camry. Good thing I like 'em though. Maybe it's even more of an acquired taste:). Just for the record I have had a few cars that weren't green & oddly both of the only '71 GS's I've owned were/are Burnished Cinnamon. If there was any way to verify it and it ever came up for sale, I sure would like to have the 1 of 1 (assuming it's real) Green '71 GSX and true to form, I spoke to someone just yesterday about a, you guessed it, Green '72 Stage 1 4-sp.

Back in HS there were SO many green cars (Incl. my Jeep & GS) amongst the crowd I hung out w/ (incl. at least 3 '70-72 Skylark 4-drs. friends had as hand me-downs from their parents & a couple late 60's Mopars) that I had a dedication to all the "green machines" in my senior yearbook write-up.

I used to daily drive a Heritage Brown ‘79 Trans Am and I guy I worked with made fun of it being S$&t brown. One day he shows up in a brand new Focus in slime green. Next time he gave me grief I said ‘When I went to the ‘79 400-4speed T top T/A store, they only had one. Brown. You went to the brand new Ford Focus store where they had five acres of them and you PICKED that color.’ He shut up after that.

I always thought Heritage Brown looked great on a Trans Am.
