Take a look at this listing. I can't say that I've ever seen a '74 Buick Riviera GS Stage 1 here in Canada. Must be a rare old girl. Very nice!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4581445431&sspagename=ADME:B:SS:US:1
It is pretty rare. This is the last year for the Stage 1 option and in 1975 the GS option would dissappear. Only to be replaced by the S/R package. 4,119 Rivieras in 1974 has the GS option, and 1,698 has the Stage 1 option. :Smarty:
It is at least the 3rd time this Riviera is listed on Ebay. Saved some photos from the last time. It seems to be not an original Canadian car. It was purchased in NJ http://photobucket.com/albums/v601/73Riv/74 Riv GS St 1/?
Yes she is a beauty. For all I know maybe this is the last 74 Riv around. You never see one at a car show but then again you hardly never see a Buick at a car show. Don't know why. That is an interesting question. I will get in touch with someone from the Riviera Owners Association and find out. He decifered my build sheet for mr and told me I had a very rare car here with all these options.
Sorry so late - time gets away from me. Very nice car. This car will only accept gold nothing less when she is shown. John
