    Here's a pic of my old 74. It's 1977, I'm 20 and about 30 pounds lighter:p

looks like someone blacked out the grill. $6500 not a bad price though.

A Snowbird's interstate cruiser. Probably equipped with an onboard compass that automatically points "S" at the first kiss of a snowflake on it's sleek ebony flanks.

Very basic Electra, no power seat even. For a 100k plus car with sone needs, it’s overpriced. Not sure why but the 74’s are softer in the market than the years around it.

I'm somewhat prejudiced as I had one, although mine wasn't a Limited, it did have 60/40 pwr seats, cornering lamps,cruise,A/c, and tilt etc. I guess people find the big front bumper off putting compared with the sleeker looking '71's to'73's and it's the last year for the 71-74 cockpit style dash ( which I always liked better than the next gen dash) If you look closely at mine, you can see I was going thru a "wide whitewall" stage in my life. Didn't last. Couldn't afford new tires, so I painted the wide whitewalls on. Looked great for 2 weeks before it started peeling.:p

I think the header panel/headlight treatment is kinda odd that year. Of the big bumper cars it’s the least appealing to me. But it’s still a hardtop coupe, not an opera window post coupe.

Back in the mid to late 1970's, 1 1/2"- 2" white walls were pretty common on luxury cars. That was the only way for me back then. If a car I bought didn't have them already, they would get a set of wide whites almost immediately. I once bought a '75 Limited coupe that my wife didn't like until I put the wider white walls on it. That said, now I prefer the skinnier ww's on these cars. The car for sale is screaming to have a set installed on it IMHO.

I used to be fussy and only appreciated the 71 and 72... Then I embraced the 73. and now I like the 74, and especially the 75. I have come to really like the opera window like in the above photo. With the road wheels it looks awesome. I love them all now. of course 5 miles to gallon is kinda a drag but anyway you dont have to drive it, you can park it out in back and have a party .... hows that go? aw shucks I cant make it rhyme with Buick Electra..

Thank you Keith! That was the second of the four I've owned. I still love those cars for their style, comfort and ride.

My buddy loved my 74 and everybody called it “The Shark”. He had to outdo me and bought a 1974 landau limited.
It had the pillow seats like a Caddy ,full full load and an excessivly padded half roof. Silver with a red totally pimped interior. I have never seen another one like that since.

I still love the 72 Electra's as the perfect iteration of that body, but I would take a 75/76 Park Ave in a second or a Limited Coupe in white with the red interior. Always thought they should have kept the 73 front end on the 74 with the better tailend which would have made for a nice looking car. Not sure which I would choose between a 73 or 74.

I think I drove by this car a week ago. Black Electra 225. I didn’t have enough time to check it out.
Was behind a fence. Near BQE if I remember right. Was a couple cars I think and this was closest and behind a fence if I remember correctly. Thought it looked really cool.
