This is a good resto candidate for those fellas or gals into the mid 70's muscle. My friend is selling it. He has gotten it running quite well and it all seems to be there with good documentation to boot. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250085616483&fromMakeTrack=true
Ken, a friend of mine is trying to validate is '75 Hurst. Could you ask your friend how he went about verifying the car? Since it wasn't a factory job, can the VIN tell anything? Thanks, Jeff
Jeff, He said he sent to olds history center, and they sent him the package back for a hurst olds. It has the swivel seats, special hood, padded top with window plugs in rear side windows(nobody would have went that far to fake one probably)factory gold rims(original paint on them) its a real Hurst Olds apparently. A y77 350 car. Sport steering wheel,am/fm a/c... Looks like only an hour left in the auction. Apparently the 74's Hurst Olds's are pretty rare.
Thank you both (George and Ken) for the info. I'll pass this along to him. His has all the signs, it's just always nice to have a little documentation. Jeff
I owned one of these cars about 15 years ago, but it was the black top car, and think it was a 75. Kinda neat car. Pete
Hey stranger, how you doing? Gald to see your back to Buicks. Do you know where that '75 ended up? A friend just picked one up from Steve Clapp out of Wichita. Would be wild if it was your old one. Sending a PM with my new e-mail. Jeff
That very well could be the car. I think I sold it to a guy in Hutch, so its possible. Thanks for the pm, Pete
