Hi all- Yet another question.Hopefully I am in the right area to post this, but if not, I apologize.I would like to change my 78 231 evenfire V6 to tbi, does anyone know if there is an easy way to do this ? Maybe a particular vehicle to rob parts from ? Seems this would be a very good changeover, but not sure if it can be easily done.Would love to hear the input. I am sure I'll need the throttle body, computer, and some sort of exhaust sensor, but what else ? FYI this is in a Jeep CJ, which currently has a 4-barrel carb. Thanks for the input! Mike

tbi is pretty simple holley makes a complete kit for about 600 bucks

of course you can use tbi parts of a truck cheaper basically you need a electric fuel pump the tbi throttle body with the injectors and sensors a hei dist and the ecm

and you need to wire it up

You could pirate the MPFI system off of a mid to late 80's 3300 or 3800 FWD motor and pick up an LC2 Turbo6 intake and have a custom chip burned for roughly the same amount actually. However you would need to get a high pressure fuel system which could dampen your budget abit.

4v to tbi adapter and a chevy 4.3 tbi setup will also work
