1981 Lincoln Town Car

    My neighbor, a Blue Oval guy has a1981 Lincoln for sale. 1 family owner Florida car. Fire Engine red with white leather. 302 fuel injected, all options except rear defrost( Florida Car) and sunroof. Digital dash and air suspension.47,000 easy miles. All original except tires, period.     Even though they are basically the same car, that's actually a Continental, not a Town car.

    Thanks, I stand (actually sitting) corrected on the title line. 2 other things about the CONTINENTAL:Smarty:, The painted, not taped pinstriping on the hood is fading, from age no doubt and the center instrument cluster cover has a small hairline crack, barely noticeable.     Ditto.......way underpowered (145HP) for that size of car!

    I've owned a stretched model year 1985 Town Car, also with the 302. That things was slow.....:pp

    We all know that it's not a model year 1981 Town Car in the photo.

    I never said it IS a model year 1981 Town Car, I typed that the rear of a model year 1981 Town Car LOOKS LIKE the car in the photo [​IMG]

    Way different from the rear of the Continental that is for sale, no "fake spare tyre hump" and different tail lights.
