Does anyone know for sure and I do mean for sure if the Lear Siegler seat covers used in the 84 grand national are the exact same as the ones in the 84 T-type regal other than the embroidered turbo six emblem?

Were they the exact same color with regard to the leather and the cloth? After years of fading and damage, I'm looking at some replacements for the 84 GN. The ones I found are from an 84 T type but the colors look different...

The GM (Buick) parts book shows two cars with AQ9 seats, listed as ‘High Performance Bkt P&D Seat’ (passenger and driver). Both cars are 4GJ47.

One says ‘AQ9(L/S P&D), presumably ‘L/S’ means Lear Seigler’? That listing shows one color available-60C, Lt. Sand Gray, made from Brandon Cl/Sierra Lea. (2-Tone). That car has S1A/1AC door panels. Best I can tell, S means ‘standard, 1 is ‘first design’, and A means modified. 1AC might be 1-first design, A modified, C cloth. I think this is a T Type.

The second car listing has the same AQ9, color 60H (still Lt. Sand Gray) and D3/1AC door panels. Best guess there is D-Deluxe, 3 third design, then 1AC same as above (1st design midified cloth). Those seats also say ‘Brandon Cloth/Sierra Leather (2 Tone). I think this is a GN.
On the ‘Trim Combo’ page, 60 is Lt. Sand Gray/Med Sand Gray/Charcoal on the ‘Basic Int/“Big 4” Parts.
The only other differentiation I can find is, at the front of the catalog, is a page that lists ‘60H’ and ‘Lear Siegler Frt Seat w/Matching Rear Seat, Embroidered “6” on Frt Seat Back, Color Lt. Sand Gray’ on the page titled ‘1984-85 WE2 Option Grand National II.’
So, my guess is that 60H is embroidered and 60C isn’t, but all the colors are the same.
My catalog was printed in ‘91 and there are no part numbers for the L/S seat covers in it, so either they were no longer GM supplied items or they never were (with and parts needed supplied straight from Lear Siegler).
Hope that explosion of text helps…

Edited: L/S, not L&S, probably Lear Seigler not leather and suede.
