I saw an ad selling a 1984 turbo regal, I looked at where the guy lived, and it just so happend to be 10 miles away from me, so I go and see the guys car and it was just a peice of crap. but as I walked to the back of his garage I saw his other regal, its a 1985 (not t-type) with a 455. When he popped the hood, it looked like it was brand new, when he started it up the car it purred. Chrome paint still present on the engine and he also said theres brand new tires and new exhaust, the cars interior is flawless, I couldnt find not 1 defect in it.

I was wondering if anybody would know how much a car like this would cost.

    thanks

i dont know what the price would be but it sounds pretty sweet. i dont really know what prices would be so i would probably say about 7,8 grand. but i would need to see the car to really get a good understanding about it

Thats awsome, the guy offerd me 5 grand for it, but i have no money!. But some kid offerd me 5 grand for my 84 monte, so if i can sell my monte(305 :D) for 5000, and buy a big block 455 for the same ammount, ill be pretty happy.

everything inside the car is mint condition, it has no defects at all.

Will it be street legal in your area?

Emission controls may be mandatory for the year of the car, not of the engine. Check local laws before you dump money into a swap like that. It would be awful to do all that work and never be able to have the car inspected

I dont know if it would be street legal, im only 17 and have very little knowledge when it comes to fixing up cars, I plan to buy the car and resell it for a higher price.

Hmmm, that can be difficult too. The hard part is finding somebody who is willing to buy the car for your price while it is still worth more than you paid. Good luck.
