I started out with a 1986 Buick Regal T-Type without an engine, and ran acrost a guy parting out a complete 1985 Rivera Turbo T-Type (yes I tried to talk him out of the whole car, but couldn,t) and purchased the complete engine with all accesseries (only with a bad head gasket running with good oil) the wiring harness/ ECM/ fuelpump with whole sending unit out of the gas tank. all for a paltry sum thinking I would be able to swap this engine into my regal t-type with the switching of a few parts ( HUH huh HUH!!!!!):spank:

I will need at a minamum to find an 86-87 turbo complete upper and lower intake, headers, accesseries bracketing and pulleys.

I would be interested in trading off the unusable Riv. Turbo parts that are un-compatable to the regal- intake with the horseshoe turbo adapter that puts the turbo above the transaxle/ front-wheel drive turbo headers and y-pipe/acceesserie bracketing for alt-pwr. str., and the block-to frame V6 3.8 Riv. FWD motor mount plate.
I run a small garage and towing buisiness near Dayton, Ohio and I am unavailable to road-trip due to the business.
I can also be reached at jmhotrodgarage@yahoo.com I also have ALOT of Big Block Buick/ Chev/ parts also to put in the mix if necessary!

I would also be interested in the gas sending unit. Do you have prices yet? I just had my T-type Riv redone but the sending unit was shot. Replaced the tank and fuel pump but need the sending unit. Thanks for your help. Classicsyl

You need to post a price for the parts, even if you would rather a trade... This is a board rule and they may delete the thread if you do not add a price....

  4. Ok I would pay $40 for the sending unit.
