Great parts car available at a must sell price! 1 of 4123.
191k. Hasn't run in 2 1/2 years. Needs a starter among other things to get it to run. Only body damage is to the right front fender and a few dents on the right door. This car has all the ground effects including the rare body side skirts and rear bumper valance. The front air dam was pushed in on the drivers side by something I hit on the highway, but it is not cracked. This T-type is ideal for parting out, as you would tend to reap a better return on your investment. I would rather not get involved.
The car is black with the special two-tone black/silver interior. 8 way power drivers bucket seat and 4-way passenger with recline. Floor shifting console and full gauge dash panel including factory tach. Power windows, locks, mirrors, trunk release, antenna, are only a few of the options that this car would expect to have. Interior would look great in a street rod or some other type of project. The LeSabre T-type would make a nice race car if you have the cash for the framework needed. I don't want to part with this, but I finally came to my senses...it will never get redone unless I hit the lottery.
$350 takes it away, but I am open to any reasonable offers.
Once again, this car is in fair condition at best and I have nothing to hide. For more details, reply here or to either of the following addresses, or call me. I am located in Brick,NJ (shore area) 1 hour north of Atlantic City.

    Thanks!

Quick question: were the lesabre t-types just a package or were they turbo as well in '87? (in other words is this a NA or a turbo car?)

    probably a stupid question :)

    LeSabre T-type

Unfortunately the LeSabre T-type was not equipped with a turbo.
Buick did experiment with a turbo LeSabre T-type, but the trans could not hold up to the power. This is a FWD car.
The '87 LeSabre T-type was a 2 door LeSabre with a Gran Touring Suspension Package (Heavy duty front and rear sway bars etc.). It also came with a 2.97:1 axle ratio for more performance. All the trim was blacked out like a Grand National with 2-tone black and silver bucket seat interior with console. Full gauge package with tachometer thats blacked out with red-orange illumination. Full ground effects including rear deck spoiler, rear bumper valance, body side skirts, and front air dam were all part of the WE2 option.

Thanks for the interest in this somewhat unknown Buick that wasn't as popular as it should have been. Maybe because it listed for around $23,000.

    Sorry,
This car has been parted out and sent to the crusher almost 2 years now. I still have some parts left like rims and a T-type steering wheel. If it's sheetmetal you need, I cant help you. Only a few odd parts left. Check out www.lesabret.com. They have free classifieds in their forum, and you should definately find what you need from them.

What sort of parts do you need? I have a pretty decent collection of LeSabre T-type parts for sale (fenders, door, console, wheel well trim, etc).
