    A 1 owner extremely rare 88 t-roof LX.
this was one of the fastes production cars in 1988. I read it was the fastest american production car that year.
I just need to get rid of it to help pay for my bills that are adding up.
Car is located in Southeastern Indiana.
I need 1500.00 for the car.
It runs fine but would need brakes and wheel bearings to be driven any distance.

    parts for this car

I have some parts for a restoration. If they would help someone buy this car.

    Again, 1500 for the car

    a set of doors, 250.00

    2 rear hatchs, 175.00 each

    a rear GT spoiler, 75.00

a set of GT seats, front and rear, 250.00

    a set of 4, GT 5 star wheels, 175.00

a new repro LX front bumper cover, 150.00

so that is a fair amount of the parts needed to restore this cars body.
I have been scrounging for these parts for quite some time. This should help a ton!

all of the parts and the car could be had for 2500,
I am 1 hour west of Cincy, 30 mins east of Indy and just 2 miles off of I-74.

You never mentioned condition of interior or trans type, I'm presuming a 302 engine. Is it all original or has it been modified, engine wise I mean? Exhaust type. :Do No:

Sorry, not much info except my title of the thread.

    1988 Mustang LX 5.0 5 speed manual.
The interior is in good shape. especially knowing I have a very nice set of GT style seats for sale too. If you are thinking about keeping the original LX seats in it, you would need to replace the seat back of the drivers side as it leans. This is pretty common on the 5 speed cars I have had. 100 percent stock. right now the car has sat so long you would need to replace the exhaust. I have not ever put anything except stock mufflers and the original style polished stainless pipes.

Thanks for the info! What I'm looking for is an automatic car, the old knees got to much arthritis in them to be shifting very fast. I'll show this to my son-in-law as he's looking for a Mustang right now.

the engine has approx, 150k miles, all highway. I used to drive it 30 miles each way to work.
The trans works and shifts perfect.
I ordered this car myself, but I can not remember the gear. I thought there were 3 choices and I took the middle of the road for gas mileage and quickness.
I am 1 hour west of Cincinnati.
