I'm donating my 207,000 mile daily driver Riv to my daughter.

The night she picked it up, it started making water pump noises.

The local shop that we took it to for oil change, radiator flush, etc. says the pump is bad. Not leaking bad yet, but it's noisy and the pully wobbles quite a bit. Parts cost is $180 and labor is $350 to have them fix this thing.

I know I'll regret it but I'll probably try to repair the water pump myself. I've been under the car and replaced the power steering pump, so I know how thight things are in there. I geuss I'll probably have to drop a motor mount to get at it - does anybody have any history on this? Any tips, or a source for a bargain water pump?
