    *********EDIT*******
    This car has been sold!

We bought a new car for my wife a couple weeks ago and we've finally decided to sell her old one. I was going to drive it to save gas... but as fun as the car is.... it's just "not me". And besides that, I only drive 4 miles to work every day, so there probably wouldn't be enough gas savings to offset the cost of insurance and registration. :Dou:

Anyways... it's a 96 Olds Cutlass Supreme 4dr with the 3.4 DOHC engine in it.
It's pretty peppy, and it handles like a slot car.
We bought it somewhere around 6-7 years ago with about 40K on the clock and it now has 81,500 miles on it.
It looks great inside and out. We put new tires on it maybe 2-3 years ago? (my wife probably has all the reciepts somewhere)

I'll try to list the "options" off the top of my head...
PS, PDB, PW, PL, AC, tilt wheel, air bag ..etc
It has a nice factory sound system in it. (AM/FM + CD + cassette) The stereo sounds like there's a subwoofer hidden somewhere too. However... the CD player doesn't like to work very much anymore. It just spits the CD in and out over and over again. Every once in a while it'll stay in a work, but most of the time it just spits it back out. I don't recall ever trying a cassette tape in it. :Do No:
The AC stopped blowing cold towards the end of last summer for the fist time since we've had it. I had it leak-checked and charged this summer (no leaks found) and it works great now.
She was religous about oil changes. It's due for it's next one at 83,000 miles.
I just had the back brakes replaced (rotors, calipers, and pads)

    Lets see... what else...
The center console lid hinge is broke. It doesn't pivot up any more... it just lifts off now.
The "tune" knob fell off the stereo about 3 weeks ago. She thinks it's laying under the seat somewhere.
I put a remote starter in it about 5 years ago. It quit working about 2 winters ago and I haven't tried to find out why. I hate laying under a dash looking at 5000 wires, and besides that, she parks in the garage at our new house so it wasn't that important anymore. :pp

The car is in 44883 Ohio, and can be seen at any time. It's still plated and insured so you can take it for a spin. This car is ready to go on a cross-country trip. Fly in, drive home. :TU:
We'd like to get $3,000 out of it. Thats a non-negotiable FIRM price. Any less than that and it's not worth getting rid of a good spare car.

Per board rules, if you're interested, please post in this thread first, and then you can PM me to exchange phone numbers or email addresses, etc...
I have a bunch of pictures I will be posting... but I'm not sure if I'll be able to add more pictures until the mod's approve this ad....

    Cheers
    Rick

one more "ttt" before I let this thread die....

I may consider offers... but I'm pretty set on the price.
I also suppose cash + Buick parts might be an interesting trade?

    436'd Skylark Sweet Fancy Moses!!!!!

Not a bad car, but it always cracks me up when people list power steering and power Disc brakes as options. what car nowadays doesn't? also has the rare 4 tires on the ground option.  :beer :spank:

Glad I can humor you Joe. :pp

But you know as soon as I don't list those kind of details is when I'll get an email asking if it has disc brakes or power steering.
    :Do No:

Incedently... we might have it sold! A local family drove it yesterday. Their son just turned 16. They really like the car and the price... but I don't think the kid is too crazy about the whole "4-door thing". The parents were willing to buy it on the spot, but left it up to him. He said he wanted to look at a few more cars this week before making up his mind.
    Fingers crossed.... :TU:
