New guy here, I've posted my question around the boards a bit just trying to find the best place to post. I have a 1997 LeSabre V-6 3.8L. What can I do to this engine (or replace it with) that would make the car accelerate like a rocket when passing, and otherwise really just soup it up? thanks.

    GSXMEN Got Jesus?

There are several things that can be done to the L36 Series II 3800 engines. The L67 SC3800 isn't the only engine these guys modify.

Check out this link from RegalGS.com.

Specifically, check out 3800 Performance, ZZ Perf. and Intense Racing. ZZPerformance offers all kinds of stuff...roller rockers, cams, headers, even a centrifugal supercharger kit!!:TU:

One thing to consider though...you'll spend a fair amount of money to go as fast as a stock or mildly modified L67 SC3800 powered car!!:Smarty: Soooo.... you may want to weigh your alternatives [modifying this car vs. selling the LeSabre and buying a SC3800 car].

Either way...you should up with a fun (and quicker) car to drive!! Enjoy!!!:bglasses:
