In going thru all the stuff that I've got in my garage, I got to thinkin' ..... Why not have a mini swap meet at the Shin Dig. Space is limited, but I could probably arrange for around 6 spots that would have 4' of "frontage" and about 8' or so depth. Would anyone be interested in setting a small space up for themselves, or to "shop" ?? I know I've got some stuff that I need to sell that just don't make sense on EBay (cylinder heads, blocks, etc.) And NO Beanie Babies or model cars or baseball cards. Or for that matter, your true "junk". (EX: I've got a 10-bolt non-posi carrier -- THAT is not going to be useful for much.) I'd really like to see some quality stuff that you just don't need anymore. I've got some BBChevy and #6 Olds heads. A 383HP block. Some good carb cores, etc. That kinda stuff. It seems like every year we have more and more people using the Shin Dig as a pick-up/drop off point for parts that are going to someone else. So anyway, let me know what you think !! PS - The cost for a swap spot will be a generous donation of (1) 6-pk of Bud Light to the organizer.. (that's me !) :beer If not, then I'll let you slide and you can drink our beer and it will be FREE. WHATTA deal ! :bglasses: Casey
Casey, why not start the swap meet right here on line for those who will be attending ??? Everyone who is going could post stuff, guys can post wish lists, and then the transactions can take place at the party........
Hey.. who's sending ME the 6 pack, as the host of this little online deal.. Have fun guys.. :beer RJW
Swap meet Well Casey, I'm not sure I will attend due to other things going on, but this swap meet thing sounds like a great idea. At our Michigan Buick Christmas party on December 2nd there was more swapping going on after our dinner than you can imagine, so I think it's a great idea. I'll see if the Old Guy and Dennis and company are up for the trip. They probably got something to sell, the Old Guy has a swap meet ready to go in his trunk of whatever he is driving at the time any day, all the time, so we will see. Thanks
I will go first with the items: 1964 Buick Wildcat misc trim: windsheild stainless, pot metal body trim, and a set of hubcaps price ??? 2 Bud Lights
