2 WD wheels. 15x7 steel wheels for a 70 GS

Just checked. My wd wheels have 4.25" backspacing.

 

You need to measure depth of rim where trim ring attatches to. That would be the concern.

Also, do any of you know if the 9796696 trim rings are correct for this wheel option?

Here's what I did with advice from rich johns from up north, thanks rich I got the wheels from wheel vintiques powder coated argent silver and trim rings from Ames Pontiac. Photos are in the bench section under 70 stage 1 stripper chassis pics. Best you can do when these wd wheels are needed and you need 5!

 

I saw your post with the chassis pics. It's a work of art, and exactly how I would want a stage 1 optioned. Keep us posted with pics.

As far as the wheels are concerned, I now have 4 of them. The 4th one I found is a WH code. I would like to find at least one more for a spare. I've talked to Rich several times, and he is familiar with my car. He is very knowledgable on these cars and was the first to enlighten me on exactly what I have.

 

Would also buy a complete set.
