Woohoo! Finally got the 200-4R installed and it is damn nice. I re-used the tranny mount from the TH350 and it bolted right in, no driveline vibration issues or anything; however I haven't had it above 40mph yet, so we'll see. I bought a rebuilt 87 GN torque converter from O'Reilly Auto and it all works out fine. Now all I have to do is wire the lock-up. I've seen many diagrams on how to do it, and if I'm not mistaken, pin "A" is the +12V switched source and pin "D" is grounded to the transmission case. Is this correct?
Definitely... I'll be there with a buddy of mine and his newly restored 70 Chevelle 454SS. He's been trying to convince me to get a 455 since I bought the car, and it's starting to work!!
