Interested in updating my Skylark to a 200-4R trans. Interested in core for local rebuild, or would consider good working used. Not looking for race-built, stock is fine. Can pick up at GS Nats.

Edit: I'm between Milwaukee and Chicago and happy to drive 3-4 hours.

    Thanks

    Jeff

Oye. Probably too far away. I've got a rebuilt 2004r I'm thinking of selling. I'm up in vt

Changing the rear ratio is more work then doing the trans swop.

true however combining both is the ideal situation! I went from 5000 RPM at 100 MPH to 3300 RPM with the 2004R swap, 4.56 gears and 31.5” tall tires.

I’m going to be looking for one too, mild performance build to go behind a stock 401 or 425 nailhead. I will be in BG.

Good point, that's an extreme ratio. I assumed you were starting with a 2.73.

Are you selling it or just taunting us?

Was told it had a slipping 3rd,..was rebuilt but undoubtedly didn't hold up behind an Olds 455 cutlass
