    I second that about Chris. You may also want to look at the transmission section on www.turbobuick.com He is a regular contributor there, and you will learn tons about the 200-4R. I picked up a core from a 442, and I plan to get the book and kit from Chris when I get into the rebuild.

    If you plan to race and use NOS you will not save much coin with the 350. It will still need to be built. Look at the web site listed above about what they do to get a 350 to race. You cannot scrimp on the tranny, when it blows you don't go....:rant: I think your best bet to conserve capital is to go with the 400. They can take the abuse you plan without the expensive mods. My 2 cents!
