LOL! You took the words right out of my mouth Lon. I was also thinking Gremlin! It looks more like an Apollo rocket impersonation than anything else. The REAR WHEELS are half a foot off the ground! :eek2:
it's great to see it wheeliynng, but i prefer these cars on the road, not on the track:ball: :ball: :ball:
I know it's not Buick, but this is by far the best Olds wheelie I've ever seen. Am I gonna see any of y'all at the Miller race in Norwalk? I know there's some Olds here... You can go up against this guy...Oh, BTW, to see the movie, right click on the url and select save target as, then run it from winamp or windows media player. http://www.realoldspower.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=6&topic=290 And if that is a gremlin(looks it to me), I'm thinking 401. Those things are monsters. My dad had one in his 78 cherokee. Badass. got squirly at 110, though.
i've seen the amc before, the site said it was an amx although the front end doesn't look like any year that i can recall.
I don't understand; who are all those guys in Hard hats and what are they doing on the starting line?
wheel stand That AMC looks like a Hornet around 72 to 74 . And that awsome wheelie by that wagon did, I was shooting a video from next to the tower . Believe it or not I could see the front hood chrome from behind the car and he bent his rear bumper and scraped his fuel cell. :jd:
Unfortunately Josh there are two things wrong with your pic. 1) It's a bitmap (.bmp). Save it as a jpeg (.jpg). It will be much smaller. and 2) It's a blank white picture. Don't worry about your computer skill. None of us where born with the knowledge.
Re: wheel stand Awesome picture! I had to show that pic to my dad. He has a mild 76 Hornet that runs 13.20's with a 360 in it. Street tires and full exhaust. We've decided that we're 100% sure that's not a Hornet. It looks like either a Gremlin or a Pacer. I'd put my money on it being a Gremlin..... ..a very sore Gremlin after that run I'm sure! OUCH! :TU:
