I would like to make a comment here with regard to Alan and this video set. First of all, the DVDs are awesome to watch! Whether you were there or not, the racing, the burnouts, the interviews, the tech sessions, the car show, etc were a top notch event! Being able to relive it in your living room whenever you want to is priceless. Alan has done a super job of capturing the essence of the experience and editing it down to three fantastic DVDs. Absolutely worth the price for any Buick enthusiast!

Secondly, consider the time and effort Alan has put into this. He spent most of the event watching it on a small B&W screen on his camera as he video taped hour after hour. This was a major sacrifice from just enjoying himself without seeing the world through a camera eyepiece. He captured race after race, car after car for days on end. There was real effort here!

The amount of effort he's put in to the editing and burning process should not be underestimated. This is not what Alan does for a living. It is not his business. It is his effort to support his hobby and his fellow Buick enthusiast. The price he is charging will not compensate him for the effort he has made in sheer hours alone. He's not paying his mortgage with this believe me.

Yes, some people have had issues with DVD compatibility. This is something Alan did not expect. To the best of my knowledge, he has satisfied everyone who has had an issue with replacements with different media that is compatible with the particular player that won't play what he sent the first time. And there are a plethora of players out there. He has done a tremendous amount of research on players, burners, firmware, software, media types etc in order to have the best possible success in getting you a DVD that plays correctly. He has even purchased multiple players out of his own pocket for experimentation with playback. Suffice it to say, there is no lack of effort. Please don't let potential compatibility issues sway you, he will make it right.

All that being said, I know his sales have been quite meager. I would like to kindly ask that if you are on the fence about buying these disks, please jump off that fence and make a purchase today. You will not be disappointed in the quality of the product or in the service you will get from Alan. Both are top notch. We need to support people who make the effort to provide value to our Buick community.

Thank you Alan for all your hard work, it is greatly appreciated! :beer

    Awesome!

Alan, just wanted to say thanks for these DVDs. These are great! It looks like you put a lot of time and effort into them - and it definitely paid off. :beer :beer :beer

Thanks for the great shots of the wagon both showing and going. :3gears:

Just a lot of awesome shots - wheelies, burnouts (at the track and "other" places), glistening show cars, antics and more. I certainly hope there is a plan for a sequel this year in Salem. Nice job!!!

By the way, all of them worked perfectly, even the extra +R version that you had thrown in!
