If anyone happens to be interested, I don't guess I need a dually truck until next year so I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in this one. I bought it a month ago with the intention of using it for the Indy trip, but it is STILL at the Ford dealers! I had them go through it and they have spent about $6,000 of my money thus far on it! It is a Powerstroke extended cab, white in color. It was a one owner truck and has 125,000 miles. Most of you know these Powerstrokes generally will run and easy 300K and up. I had the Ford dealership go all through it since they are the experts and they have given it a clean bill of health now that they are done spending my money! It needed a EGR cooler inside the motor ( pretty common, I guess ) 3 injectors ( $350 each! ) a/c compressor, engine oil cooler ($500) step-up oil pump regulator for the injectors ( another $600! ) belt tensioner and belt, and it goes on and on! All of you know that nothing comes cheap on a diesel and now I am confident that this truck is good to go. They concour that it is a very good truck by looking at various things that tip you off if it has been abused, over-heated, etc. They ran a history on it and found that it has only been in the shop twice since new -- once for injector work and I can't remember the other thing....tires are good as are the brakes. Need around $22K. Pretty good buy and not have to worry about anything for a long time. Put my enclosed trailer up for sale too under the choo-choo section. Makes no sense to me to keep these around for another year before I need them again. Got to be someone here who will give them more use than me! Can E mail photos if you like. JKC
