I had this built for my Turbo car. I sold the car, and currently have no need for the trans. Built by a well known turbo builder by the name of Brian Hofer (see links) http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/members/brian.html

    http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/search.php?searchid=163300

From Brian: The trans has a hardened forward drum, 7 pack direct clutches, 3 OD, and 5 forwards. Red Alto 2nd gear band. 5500 and 400 booseter valves. This trans will run 10`s with the right converter. I do not recommend use with a Viilante converter.

I paid 1,400.00 for this trans, will sell for 1,100.00 + shipping.

I also have a fresh built turbo short block that would be a great match for this trans, as well as a wiring harness stock IC, and many other parts if there is any interest in a hybrid trans plant . I would make a very good deal on the package, ie trans, block, harness, etc.

Has the trans ever been run? If so, How many miles/passes on it?

Is is set up for a lock-up converter? Does it have a brake?

Is it a BRF or a Monte CZ trans?

Could you quote me a price to ship to 96150?

    Thanks,

    wes

The trans has never been run. It is not a BRF. I believe it is from a Monte. Not sure if it is lock up or non, or if it has a brake.

I have sent a request for more information to Brian, and hopefully he will respond soon and have an answer for all the posted questions.

Can a visual inspection answer the questions?

    Thanks,

    Patrick

PS I have a dog house, and stock heads that will go with the short block.

    Patrick,

Thanks for the shipping quote, very reasonable.

Unfortunately, I am going to pass. I think I am going to go with a TH400 and Gear Vendors overdrive. I have big power plans and she's no lightweight.

    Thanks.

    Next in line.... YOU'RE UP

    Doo,

I'm not sure what you mean by missing the truck...what truck? I assume it is meet to imply you are out of line.

Not at all. Have/had a truck near Indy and then a bit North picking up 2 cars and then some.
Tranny would have been a nice fit....is all.
