2005 Chevy 2500 Hd No Under Hood Light

    Just picked up a new 2005 2500 hd extended cab 4x4 has just about every option but doesnt have a light under the hood? have to look to see if the have a reel out one or something.

    Nope -

    Went away during the 2003 model year. Cost reduction. Sorry.

    They didnt work half the time anyways. Had to beat the you-know-what outta the thing for the mercury switch to activate. Just get you a pen-light to carry with you in the glove box, or a flashlight with a magnet holder under the hood attached to the firewall. I see em mounted there all the time :TU:
