Thanks for the pictures Jim! Even though the weather was not good,i still had a great time! The Pure Stock guys are the best group of people in the car hobby,and i really enjoy being a part of it.The 68 Bird Scott did is the ultimate in cool,if your a Pontiac guy. A 12.04 :TU: in that humidity is unbelievable,GREAT JOB! Cant believe i have to wait 8 months to do it again. Oh well,no reason to not have all the gremlins worked out by thenou:
Figured I'd join over here and toss some pictures up... was there with my friend and his A-scheme Sc/rambler... first time we've taken the car down the track. It fought us to get there, ended up running a best of 14.85, best MPH of 96.5. Problems getting through the first 40 feet or so... pretty good mph for a car with a still functional air pump... Our camp setup, the motorhome came in handy :grin: Panczuk's '69 H/O and the Sc/rambler... Sorry for the lack of better pics, was running around like a maniac when we finally got to race due to the Sc/rambler needing some adjustments between runs. I have more pics and these in higher res, if somebody wants a higher res version they are in let me know via PM...
