I put one in my car. I just ran a 18g wire from the fuse box to a toggle switch that I mounted in the glove box. Then it just goes down to the switch that's on the passenger side of the tranny. I think the other wire is just a ground. I'd have to find the instructions to be 100% sure.
Nothing goes to my brake pedal. I only lock it up at highway speeds. But when I'm slowing down, it does just disengage at about 40 mph or so. The only thing I don't like is that it also engages at about 40 mph and now I'm loafing along at just over 1200 rpm's or so. I usually don't turn it on until I doing 60 mph or better.
