Is anyone familiar with the transmission companies advertising on ebay. One of the companies is called Monster Transmission and they advertise a 200R4 built to withstand 450 horsepower. $1095.00 Buy it now The other company is called Megamax and they claim a 200R4 that will withstand up to 500 horsepower. $950.00. Buy it now If all this is true these prices don't seem to bad compared to TCI and some of the other outfits. What Say Guys.................Bob H.
I asked both companies in question about the torque ratings of these particular transmissions. Both said they "probably" would have problems with higher torque motors. There is a place in the Valley here, San Fernando Valley, that builds 2004 Rs for both high torque and HP. I think the guy claims the worlds fastest GN but not sure. Regardless, they cost around 2K and I believe that's without the Torque converter.
