This came out my wifes motor. Car spend 4 months and 15 days at the local Buick dealership. They changed one piston and a few other items. Not happy with the repairs....I can guarantee there was atleast cylinder damage. And they didn't even check the other 3 pistons... 2010crackedpiston.jpg

Initially it started out as a stability system code popping up on the dash. Car went into limp mode. Pressed the onstar button and wife was stranded on the side of the road for 4+ hours until a tow truck showed up. Dealership couldn't find anything at first. Cleared codes and called me to come get the car. I had forgot to tell them to change the oil since it was due. So I left it and came back a few hours later to pick up. I didn't even make it out the service lane. Codes popped up. Put it back on the computer with me standing there and had multiple codes. Down hill from there.

What's that say about the dealership not being able to diagnose the problem properly and giving the car back to you... just amazing.

They didn't have a tech to work on the car until a few weeks ago.

Regardless car is back at the shop again...Not 24 hours from when we picked it up and less than 10 miles put on the car. Something camshaft related this time. Back in the engine they go... Here we go again.
