Happy New Year to all members here! Now that 2024 is officially here, we hope you're making plans to attend this year's GS Nationals in Bowling Green! We are helping sponsor the car show portion this year and have some big and fun things planned including some give aways and raffles during the show. We are all putting in efforts to help grow this great event. Start preparing your cars now and get them to this year's Nationals! We hope this will be one of the largest turnouts in recent years.
Hey, what does this board do to acknowledge members that are there? I'm pretty close to following my fathers path to going to this event. Would like to know of a V8buick meeting ground? All I need to get is an enclosed trailer and I'll be going
All of Beech Bend is the V8Buick meeting ground! Briz brings labels, put on on yer shirt. ( I wear a yellow T-shirt with my "scream name" on day one and two and maybe three and...) If you see me, throw a wrench or something at me to get my attention. Want to meet you!
LOL I should drag my knuckles more... (I have actually stood next to a lot of V8Buick (and 65GS.com) folks, but did not want to be rude and butt in, but time is too short not to stop and say Hi!", so pardon my interrupting this coming event)
I didnt actually make the labels only pass them out.. Dont remember exactly who gave them to me. I do have a small amount of them left. Could get another roll printed
I didn’t get one lol and I was parked next to you last year. Thanks for helping me navigate my first GS Nationals. Look forward to seeing you and the few guys I met this year and putting more faces to the V8 names.
Usually Wild Bill (@Topcat) puts on the WFO meeting during one of the evenings at a local joint, too. A lot, if not all attendees are V8Buick members. Watch for a post from him soon. Hopefully he puts it on this year. It's been a good time the past couple years that I went, even when Patrick and Davis hosted last year in his absence.
Rich, I read one of Jr's post that WildBill and Davis will have their Wildcat "meeting" in the pits, with the other groups instead of doing it off site. Troy
Sorry Troy. Im old and forget many things. Least I remembered having some and handing them out. Carry a Sharpie also. I'll be in the cir track pits with the Skyhawk if ya need to find me.
