Well....after surviving getting T-boned by a whacked out chick last year and spending three months in a lay-Z-boy...missing the Nationals for the first time in 41 years and having Davis and Patrick cover for me at the meeting last year....i have had to make some changes for this year.It was never easy to get a room to hold the meeting and get in from the track on a thursday by 6pm.....it was a lot easier when it was 20-30 of us at the White Squirrel. That said....i have been extended and invitation from John Jr and George P. to bring the W.O.T. meeting out to the track on thursday and combine it with the social that they have started.....stay at the track...get ready to party with all your Buick brothers and sisters and i will have some give aways and surprises....Davis and I will probably forgo our usual off the wall give aways and banter so we don't offend half the crowd We look forward to seeing you all there.! WildBill, as long as you and Davis still MC I will be there. It will be easier for me to get there on time from vending. I will miss the AC but Looking forward to the festivities.
Super happy to see this moved to the track. Many of us were torn last year on where to go…it will make it easy this year. Can’t wait!
Also glad its at the track as now i can actually attend also. Great addition and thanks for moving it to there. Please do your banter and antics. The party in the pits was a great time and unexpected. Really looking forward to it this year. Should be a great time and I doubt anyone will be offended with any of wto club activities. Just my opinion
Hope you guys have a Birthday cake for Doug Hecker, Steve Reynolds and me because Thursday the 16th the day of the party is our Birthday. Guess a good Birthday steak dinner will have to wait for another night.
I had a blast last year, but this year is shaping up to be 10 times better! I plan on staying at the campground again this year.
To the top... The party Thursday night at the track is shaping up nicely. Like last year, there will be free drinks but this year there will also be free food, a small PA system for Wild Bill and Davis to conduct the Wildcat Owners Team Meeting, and some LED lighting to keep it going after dark. George Pollakis is purchasing the food and drinks and can use a few more donations. They can also use a few mor large coolers and a few BBQ grills. Hope to see you there!
I wish I could go, but, reality sets in. Finances and the fact I do not have a Passport anymore keep me home, but I look forward to seeing the pictures of the meeting and all the Wildcats that make the trip. Have some fun for me too! Chuck
