Hi, new to the forum and thanks for having me, even though I'm not quite 100% Buick. I'm in the process of replacing the 3.5l Rover block in my TR8 with a rebuilt Buick 215 (isky 262 cam, Edelbrock manifold & 500 carb, headers) and the stock Rover heads. Here's my problem, if it is a problem - the head gaskets that come with the rebuild kit are a composite fiber/metal type, which are slightly thicker than the all metal gaskets that were stock. Is this going to affect my compression ratio to any degree I should be concerned about or should I go out and get the all metal ones?

    Thanks for any help.
