Anyone With A 70-72 (350 Ci,) Gs Running The 255/60/15 On 15 X 7" Buick Rallys On The Front Of Their Car ? Need To Know If This Is Possible With The Factory Stock Suspension ? I Am Considering Buying Red Line Tires & The Suppliers Do Not Make The 245 /60 /15 --only The 235/60 Or The 255/60 In The Red Line Tire . Will Be Installing The 275/60/15 On 15 X 8" On The Rear!

I have not used a 255/60, but keep in mind that a 275/60 is much taller than a 255/60 because of the ratio involved. You should try to keep them all the same if you can. Other than appearance, there will be no traction or handling advantage using 255/60 fronts and 275/ 60 rears. They probably don't make a 275/50 but if they do ask the supplier to measure the radius and compare. Good Luck, Dennis

a 7" wide wheel is a little small for a 255. You can squeeze them on, but they fit better on an 8"

That size has just worked for some and for others the tires made contact with something on the car. The difference in experiences may be do to the condition of the suspension for the particular car.

Did you try Diamondback Classics for the 245 (G60) eqivalent in a red line?

why not try a 235-70-15 or a 225-70-15 you will get more height and it will ride twice as good as the 60 up front.just from my own experience, the 60s pound the cracks in the road.i have 275-60-15 on the rear with 7 inch rims, they fit perfect.Ray

i have been in contact with diamondback classics & the 245 is not available by firestone, i wish they made a 65 series in the 235 or 245 but they do not.
i already have a pair of 275/60/15 on 7" rims & they do not wear evenly as the tire width is greater than the rim width. i will be using 8" on the rear,

DB will put a red line on any tire. Get some TA Radials in any size you want and they will apply the overlay. You are looking at close to $200 per tire, however....
