just found out that they sell 265/50 14" tires for 14" wheels. does anyone know if they will look good on 14x6" buick ralleys? i was going to go with 245/60's...then i found these. any info would greatly be appreciated!
Victor, I'm pretty sure you are asking for trouble if you try to run that wide of a tire on a 6" rim. Ask the vendor you are shopping with, what max size tire they recommend for a 14x6 rim.
Dave is right, that's going to be a little on the scary side. I had H60-14's on the stock 14x6's on my first GS 20 years ago. The tire was so wide that the wheel could move side to side, or in and out if that makes sense, while the tire was still flat on the ground. It was a hassle to steer just going down the road, and narrow bumpy back roads were a nightmare.
Victor, Like everyone told you,they might fit and look good,but,on a 6" wide wheel,your lookin for trouble,I'm sure the manufacturer probably suggests a 7" wide or wider wheel. Remember looks aren't everything:Smarty:
