    I have just picked up a 64 Skylark with a 300 and a 2 BBl carb.
I understand that there is an engine family known as the 215/300/340.
I would really like to know if the mid 60's 340 is externally the same as the 300...
I would like to know what 4 BBL manifolds will work on my 300.
I ordered a new 215 Special in 61 (62 model year), but fate caused me to need a station wagon...But I remember that the 215 had some trick looking aluminum valve covers..will they fit a 300????
I have a 455 in my 36 Century...I would like to put some power to my Skylark, but a 455 is too easy....If I can't find some 300 or 340 stuff, I have my eye on a 401....

    340 manifold will not fit.

1965 300 cast iron 4-bbl manifold will fit. That's it.
