a friend of mine asks me today if i want a good runing 4 bbl 300 that someone stuck in a 68 riviera i was wondering if the 300 would fit where the 231 which is froze up currently sits i have been unable to find a buick 350 although i have looked the only one i have found is in a 68 jeep with a 4 speed but the guy will not sell the engine or jeep. Has anyone done this or am i spining my wheels. :bglasses: :bglasses: :bglasses:
Oh Yeah Have a Buick 300 in my 1985 Regal which is the same chassis. Don't know if the 300 will sit on the same frame mounts as the V6. I used '65 Skylark/Special 300 frame mounts and had to bolt them to the extreme rear of the crossmember part of the frame for the transmission linkage arm to line up, but the farther back the engine, the better (in a RWD).
