I want to do an engine swap in a 1982 Bonneville. The car currently has a 231 v6, but I want to replace it with a 350. Nothing fancy, but I want it to run nice. Is there a kit available that will allow me to do that? What type of cam I can use that will allow it to run 15s and pick up groceries from the store? Thanks.

Actually it should swap right in. The 231 is just a destroked 350 minus 2 cyl.

You shouldn't need a kit. I think it even uses the same motor mounts.

finding a 350 now that has been a challenge seems that old buicks die hard

I know someone that was selling one, but it was in the PA area... a bit out of your way.

    v6 350 swap

you will need v6 engine mounts i used a set of grand national poly hipo mounts as the 350 will stretch a stock v6 mount without a tie down strap on left side. hr parts n stuff have them around 150 give or take.
