Just to let you know, we are starting to post some info on the small block board on the 350 Buick engine we are dynoing. Go to the thread titled She's Alive. This little under looked engine is starting to really come around. Jim Burek P.A.E. ENTERPRISES
Just an update, don't know how many of you big block guys frequent the small block section, but the little 350 Buick has gone 502 horsepower. Jim Burek P.A.E. ENTERPRISES
Re: Re: 350 dyno results Hi Jim: Great job. Is this engine pure race? What fuel are you using? Thanks:TU:
Now if we could just get some alum heads made for our little 350s, then we'd be making these kind of numbers all day long with a few bolt-ons. Maybe Robs car will spur on a few people to reconsider their 455 transplants and build up nice 350s instead. :TU:
Re: Re: Re: 350 dyno results David, Not trying to speak for Jim or Rob(the owner) but this is a pump gas, 10.5 motor, using stock rockers and dual plane intake. Check the thread out, it is more than impressive in my opinion. later.........................
Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, spur someone to consider selling off their BB stuff and focusing on good rods(available), a girdle(done), and some NOS............... later..................
Re: Re: Re: Re: 350 dyno results Wow. So I could drive this engine from Chicago to Salem and back again on premium. That's cool. My new engine peaked at 365 hp and 400LBS of torque. Sounds like it was WAY too conservative. Congradulations on a really great effort.
Just a quick update for you big block boys. The little 350 engine has now made 546 horsepower and 506 ft pounds of torque. Pretty impressive for our little brother engine here. The whole thread is under the small block section under "SHe's Alive" There will probably be some 455's that cringe in fear when this little engine pulls to the starting line. Jim Burek P.A.E.
