350 Harmonic Balancer

    I have bought a car for parts about 90 miles from my house ... need parts for 72 GS convertible.... intend to get as much off the cars as I can... my question is does the balancer come off like a Pontiac by taking the bolt out and pulling it off with your hands or will I have to use a puller on it???? THANKS... mike_GS

    comes right off. sometimes it's a bit snug, but hands should do it.

    it's not like a shivvy where it must be pressed on.

    Never Hurts to have a puller handy but it should slide right off.

    sbbuick My driving scares people!

    Every time I have done it, the balancer has slid right off. Easy.
