I have two questions... 1. Could I get some opinions regarding the Competion Cam 260H High Energy for the 350 if anybody has installed one as far as performance goes (with an otherwise stock 4bbl setup) 2. When I line up my marks on the cam and crank, is this the position for the #1 cyl to fire? I could not find the spec in my shop manual. All replies/opinions are greatly appreceated as always.
Timing marks When you line the dots up to install a new chain set your ready to fire on #6 cyl. not #1 like most people think. If you crank the motor over where both the cam and crank dots are up @12 oclock thats #1 ready to fire.Hope this helps Tim.:TU:
Im running a comp 268H in my 350 w/ 9.5 compression, headers, 750 holley and ported iron intake. I would recommend this cam. It gives good power and can give good fuel economy, as long as you keep your foot out of it that is.
