350 straight pipe

    i was wondering what a buick 350 would sounds like striaght pipe.. ass aposed to with flowmaster 40 series muffs.. whih do u thing would be better?

    I think with headers, a straight pipe would sound decent, although slightly more choppy unless you incorporate very smooth bends and an X pipe.

    With manifolds, and a standard dual exhaust, I think mufflers would sound better.

    with headers it might sound okay. will sound like a lawnmower on steroids with manifolds, though.

    i have yet to put on my 40 series. planning on ta headers, 2.5" tubes, 40 searies, and dump it before the rear end. going with an x pipe too :grin:

    straight pipe

    i just got flowmast 40 series put on my 69 skylark with a 350 not to long ago. I have my stock manifolds and i just have straight pipes with the flowmasters. I personly think is sounds pretty good. There is little bit of crackly when i let of but it sounds pretty mean when i step on it!:grin:
